Day 6.
This one is called Excuse Me.
Pico was lost. He was alone. He was in a tree he did not choose, in a neighborhood he did not know, and the crows had made it very clear that he was not welcome.
So what did he do?
He introduced himself.
This is the thing about Pico. He did not read a room. He did not assess the social dynamics of a tree full of strangers and adjust accordingly. He arrived, he announced himself, and he assumed โ with the full weight of his personality โ that everyone would be glad he was there.
Excuse me. I am Pico.
The locals were not glad. But Pico was undeterred. He had never once in his life considered the possibility that he might not be wanted somewhere. It had simply never occurred to him.
This was either his greatest strength or his most dangerous quality. Possibly both.
