Day 5.
This one is called Did You See That?
After the dragon incident, Pico flew. Not gracefully, not with a plan — just away, fast, in whatever direction was not the dragon.
He landed in a nearby tree and immediately did what Pico does in any stressful situation: he started talking.
There were two crows in that tree. Pico had never met wild crows before. He introduced himself. He had things to say about the dragon. The crows were not friendly.
The next thing you know, Pico was flying again — this time with both crows behind him.
He outflew them. He is not large, but he is fast, and he was motivated. This was his first real introduction to the savage wild of Outside — a place where not everyone wants to hear what you have to say, and some of them will chase you for saying it.
He has not reconsidered his communication style. He has simply filed this under experience.
