This privacy policy describes how picotheparrot.com collects, uses, and protects your information. This site is operated by Dr. Frederic Pearl (“Stooge”), creator of Pico the Parrot, based in Ocean Beach, San Diego, California.

We collect information you provide directly — such as your name and email address when you subscribe, leave a comment, or contact us. We also collect standard web data: IP addresses, browser type, pages visited, and referring URLs, through server logs and cookies.

Third-party services

This site connects to the following third-party platforms, each with their own privacy policies:

• Patreon — membership and subscription management. If you become a patron, Patreon collects and processes your payment and account data. See Patreon Privacy Policy.
• Parrot Republic (parrot-republic.com) — our Shopify-powered store. Purchases made there are governed by Shopify Privacy Policy.
• Kickstarter — crowdfunding campaigns. See Kickstarter Privacy Policy.

How we use your information

We use your information to operate the site, respond to inquiries, fulfill physical orders (pins and prints for Patreon members), and send updates you have opted into. We do not sell your personal information to anyone.

Physical fulfillment

Pin Collector patrons on Patreon provide a mailing address for quarterly fulfillment. This address is used solely to ship your rewards and is not shared with third parties beyond the shipping carrier.
