These Terms of Service govern your use of picotheparrot.com and any associated services operated by Dr. Frederic Pearl (“Stooge”), creator of Pico the Parrot, Ocean Beach, San Diego, California. By using this site you agree to these terms.

Use of this site

This site is for personal, non-commercial use. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or commercially exploit any content — including illustrations, comics, characters, or written material — without explicit written permission from Dr. Frederic Pearl.

Intellectual property

All artwork, characters, stories, and branding on this site — including Pico the Parrot, Stooge, Ella, Rocket, Dolma, Hummus, and the Parrot Republic brand — are the exclusive intellectual property of Dr. Frederic Pearl. All rights reserved.

Patreon membership

Patreon memberships are processed and managed by Patreon, Inc. and are subject to Patreon’s Terms of Use. Membership benefits — including digital content and physical rewards — are provided as described on the Patreon page. Physical rewards (pins) are fulfilled quarterly to domestic (US) addresses only. We reserve the right to adjust tier benefits with reasonable notice.

Store purchases

Purchases from Parrot Republic (parrot-republic.com) are governed by that store’s terms and Shopify’s policies. Limited edition prints and collectibles are sold as-is; all sales are final unless the item arrives damaged.

Kickstarter campaigns

Crowdfunding campaigns are run through Kickstarter and governed by Kickstarter’s Terms of Use. Campaign rewards are fulfilled only if a campaign reaches its funding goal.
