Homelessness
I feel sorry for the homeless humans. They seem happier when they live indoors. However, all are at home in Ocean Beach, so welcome.
Which is interesting, he adds, because so many of the houses seem empty.
Perhaps those owners are homeless somewhere else.
Tourism
Pico likes tourists.
But surely tourism is good for Ocean Beach?
Tourism is different. Tourism is the business of bringing people here without contributing to the wear and tear their commerce causes on my neighborhood. That, I do care about.
Education
Children understand right and wrong, and by extension their teachers — the ones who spend most of their waking day with them. The teachers at OB Elementary are the most important people in your society. We should trust them more.
Parking
I don't have an opinion.
You don't care that there is no parking in Ocean Beach?
Well, there would be 30% more parking if people learned how to park.
