Pico the Parrot
Pico is a character. He is also, depending on who you ask, in charge.
Pico was created by two people: Ella and Stooge. Stooge draws the artwork; Ella contributes creative input and helps shape the character and the world around him.
The character is based on their real parrot, but amplified: sassier, more curious, more determined, and even more interested in food.
He is the sort of parrot who sees an unopened door and assumes it contains either an adventure or a snack. Usually both.

From Ella & Stooge
Pico was here first.
The character came after the bird. Pico is based on a real yellow-naped Amazon parrot named Pico, who lives with his creators, Fred “Stooge” and Ella. Stooge draws the artwork; Ella contributes creative input and helps shape the character and the world around him.
The real Pico is loud, funny, curious, food-motivated, and absolutely certain that the household revolves around him. He does not speak in complete sentences, lead political campaigns, or narrate his own adventures—at least, not in ways we can prove.
The fictional Pico is that real bird’s personality amplified: given a voice, a larger appetite, and more freedom to get into mischief. Sometimes the character does things the real Pico never would. Sometimes he says things the real Pico never could. That’s the point.
